• Roy calls on Kate, he heard about her concerns of last week and was concerned, she’s distinctly frosty and while she’s sure that he shouldn’t be worried, it’s not his, so what should he be worried about, he’s not convinced on the matter of paternity. Indeed, in a conversation with John later it seems as though Roy would rather he was the father.
• Phil is still annoyed at Jill, who’s got enough to worry about with Kenton’s problems.
• Pat’s worried, too, both about the planned sewage pipe, but also because Tommy’s planning on going to a Young Farmers party and John’s not too keen on looking after him!
• Shula and Alistair are getting on like a house on fire – he’s even got the magic story-telling touch with a grouchy, tired Daniel – and she leans on him as she worries about her parents.
