• Ambridge won on Saturday and it’s all that David (and Eddie) can talk about, David because of his leadership and motivational skills, Eddie because of his catch that won the match! Ruth is adamant though that David is not going to take on the captaincy longer term!
• It’s calving at Brookfield and Ruth and David are busy.
• Julia offers Nelson a peace offering, which is gratefully accepted as they bury the hatchet with a conciliatory dinner at the Hassett Room.
• Usha tells Ruth of Richard’s worries over the reviews, especially his dosage mistake last week in the light of the fact that his dispenser is being seen today.
• Sid ropes David in for The Bull’s tug-of-war team, although Eddie is still prevaricating.
