  • Shula is determined to forget the office (and the Christmas party) for a couple of days, and Caroline wonders at Guy’s reaction to current situation and is looking forward to the day with the Grundys – loud and raccous, not like Guy.
  • Clarrie is overcome – with happiness at the boys’ presents.
  • Brookfield is full of kids – both big and little with David and Phil joining in with the kids! Lizzie phones and is spending rather a lot of time with Ellie-May as Julia re-asserts her domination over Lower Loxley ….
  • They’re having a great time at Lower Loxley and Joe is grateful to Caroline for putting on such a good occasion and supporting them in both their times of need. Caroline admits to Clarrie that sometimes she wishes that Guy had left her the estate, and Clarrie (in jest) offers to help her out again after having so much fun today!
