  • Joe’s looking forward to the Jersey trip, he’s also enjoying some of Hayley’s marrow jam – the best since his Susan’s apparently. Eddie’s not too happy about a letter from the estate about their permission for the hunt to go across Grange Farm land.
  • Sharon mentions Roy’s visit to John, he’s not happy, but Sharon’s sure that he’s been convinced. It seems that Sharon’s short of rent money, which John offers to lend to her, but he’ll have to go to the bank.
  • It seems Sean’s bought Eddie’s venison and has to protest over its legality to Sid’s taunts about why he didn’t want to touch it.
  • Sharon’s in the shop serving Clarrie when John returns to give her the money, he hands it over under the pretence of buying a big box of chocolates allegedly for Tom to give to Pru ahead of their anniversary this weekend.
