• William’s helping George, who’s grateful for the extra pair of hands and amused at the poacher turned gamekeeper. A fox has killed some chicken’s darkening George’s mood, especially as it turns out it was his fault, and William disappears off on his bike.
• Christine’s preparing St Stephen’s for Easter and mentions that Peggy still hasn’t relented in her stance over Janet.
• It’s John and Hayley’s house-warming party and things are going well until William is found drinking Martha’s home-brew. Luckily Hayley catches him early, then Clarrie arrives (with Marjorie) and he’s allowed to stay – and so does Mrs A!
