• Brian’s not amused over having to bail Kate out, although he will thanks to Jennifer’s insistence. Debbie’s concerned that the cottage will be a stick to beat them with eventually.
• John’s remorseful over Hayley, Debbie reminds him that that is not enough, but she’s not answering his calls to try to patch things up.
• Tom catches up with John, he wants the disco equipment because apparently bats don’t like organ music and it’s a suitable substitute for a real player!
• Tom reminisces over the church, remembering his sister Doris’ wedding 75 years before – and that all of his generation is outside in the churchyard …
