• Jill’s decided that the fair will have to do without the prohibitively expensive bungee jumping, but she and Shula think that combining a pet show with Karaoke could be an idea ….
• Jason’s being elusive, Bridge Farm and Brookfield are both missing him, although the work seems to be progressing well.
• Most of the village are looking forward to the Royal Show, Tony, John, Brian and Jennifer are there today and Phil and Jill are going tomorrow.
• Some traveller friends of Kate turn up, much to Roy’s annoyance. It appears that they are to oppose the widening of the Borchester by-pass, Kate’s going to support their action, although Roy is much less keen.
