Radio Times: Clarrie confesses all.

  • Oliver and Caroline are still struggling with Ed. Maybe challenging him about drugs has driven him back into his shell. But perhaps Fallon coming round will help. Oliver also thinks he should be helping Mike but Caroline doesn’t want him taking on so much. It seems to be when Caroline finds the crack. Oliver knows he needs to confront him. Crack is a step too far.
  • Clarrie and Pat enjoyed finished up Matt and Lilian’s party leftovers. Lilian had really pushed the boat out – lots of sandwiches… Pat tells Clarrie at least she’s got Mike and Clarrie says she’s done a terrible thing. She had been talking to him about Eddie and she shouldn’t have. She shouldn’t have let Mike hug her – it started out harmlessly and then he started stroking her hair and it felt sexual. That was all. He hadn’t tried anything else but it must be her fault – she must have led him on by talking about Eddie. It shouldn’t have happened. Pat tries to reassure her it’s natural to seek comfort. Mike probably just forgot for a moment it was Clarrie.
  • Oliver does confront Ed. First of all he denies he was doing it and then he blames Caroline for prying and threatens to leave again. Oliver says he’s got to get help but Ed says he is doing it to forget. That is what he wants. So Oliver says then that’s it. He can’t help him. He’d better go.
