There are tensions at Willow Farm and surprises at Honeysuckle Cottage.
Radio Times: Pawel makes a surprising move. Meanwhile, Lynda puts her foot in it.
Characters: Adam, David, Ian, Lynda, Mike, Pawel, Vicky- Adam gives David a hand with a calf which is slow to drink from the bucket. He tells David that he is all in favour of the biodigester, though thinks Brian should have considered solar panels. Work is well under way at Valley Farm.
- As Ian cooks for Adam, Pawel calls in, saying he is bored and needs to get away from the farm. Ian gives him a drink and invites him to supper, but soon the mood changes, and Pawel makes a move on Ian. Startled, Ian suggests that Pawel should finish his drink and leave.
- Lynda is full of righteous anger over a proposal to take the top out of a tree with a TPO at Manorfield Close. Neither David nor Adam knows much about it, so she collars Mike, who quickly tells her she has mixed two trees up; there is no preservation order on the one in question. Flustered, Lynda tells him that Vicky will make a very good mother, and that she is sure they will face the problems of a Downs child together
- Furious, Mike rounds on Vicky as soon as he gets home. She agreed to tell no-one outside the family, she has cleared his stuff from the study and is just not listening to him. Vicky tells Mike he is being unreasonable. Refusing an offer of tea, Mike goes to do his paperwork.
- Adam is understandably jumpy when Ian tells him about the incident with Pawel, but Ian thinks this is just because he thinks Ian was flattered by Pawel’s attention. He assures Adam that he would never look for a flirtation with someone like that when he has a partner like Adam.
