Lilan meets Paul for lunch and things seem to be getting closer.

Radio Times: Vicky makes her presence known, and Lilian drops by unannounced.

Characters: Darrell, James, Lilian, Vicky

• Darrell is enjoying his work at the Church but not as much as Vicky is excited by Mike’s photo shoot. Vicky is determined that he has to wear “decent” clothes for the pictures but Mike doesn’t agree. He doesn’t want to see his mates grinning at him but he finally agrees on wearing a jumper as long as he can wear an outdoor jacket over it. And then she manages to get herself in the shots the photographer is taking. Mike manages to avoid having any “foundation” though.
• Lilian finds James just about setting the kitchen on fire. She isn’t impressed that Leonie was the cause of a late night and then leaves James to sort it out. Lilian ends up cooking for both of them. Though why she needs to throw the frying pan out after one bacon sarnie is harder to grasp….
• Lilian “drops in” on Darrell at the church he is working on and, lo and behold, Paul turns up to show her around. And they have lunch. She complains about how much time she is supposed to deal with the business while Matt is out and about and how James still won’t let her get on with the business. But just talking to Paul makes things so much easier and at least he cares. Paul begins to suggest things might go further and then backs off.
