Pat finds out about BL’s plans for a second digester at Berrow Farm.

Radio Times: Ian is grumpy with Adam, and Pat hears some upsetting news.

Ian isn’t impressed with Adam for missing the wedding. Everyone was asking after him and didn’t believe he had to work. They were their best friends and he refused to go. Adam then dashes off to work and won’t even stay for coffee.
Brian can’t believe how magnificent Jennifer was with the kitchen builders but at least it is finally finished and she is impressed. Adam thinks it’s gorgeous too. Jennifer isn’t keen on Brian touching anything while she’s away but Brian insists he needs at least to fry sausages for Ruairi.
Pat hears from her friend on the Planning Committee that BL have put in an application for another anaerobic digester at Berrow Farm which will involve masses of waste being brought in through the village. Pat thinks she’ll need a word with Brian.
Helen tells Ian how well things are going with Rob but Ian senses something is wrong. She admits she is concerned that Rob’s Mum didn’t know much about her. Helen can’t imagine Rob not talking to her. She is going to be her mother-in-law after all.
Jennifer is off on holiday when Pat turns up at Home Farm to ask about the digester. Brian is puzzled she’s concerned. It’s green energy after all. Pat insists it’s all part of the same hideous plan to turn Ambridge into an industrial wasteland.
