Tom persuades Johnny that sheep shearing is better than the accounting module Rob recommended. Kirsty and Tom have a stilted conversation about Helen.
Radio Times: Johnny makes a decision and Helen seems to be busy.
Characters: David, Fallon, Harrison, Johnny, Kirsty, Pip, Toby, Tom- Pip and David have their first breech birth from the new herd. Just in time for Mother’s Day.
- Toby appears looking for the “Jockster”. He isn’t there so David and Pip will have to be the first to hear the good news. Justin has agreed to put money into the egg business through sponsoring the egg boxes. Later, David notices that Toby isn’t flirting with Pip so much. She is pleased about that but she is missing Matthew.
- Kirsty visits the cafe and asks Fallon if she has seen Helen. She has been texting her but no response yet. Fallon is more interested in her egg decorating classes. Lots of questions but not many firm bookings. Mother’s Day is looking better though.
- Johnny is going home for the weekend. He hasn’t bought a present for Sharon yet. Helen used to help him. Tom talks to him about his modules. Rob has persuaded Johnny that he should do “Managing Budgets” as a module. Johnny isn’t keen but he thinks Rob is so clever he must be right. Tom tries to persuade him that he is a natural with livestock. He should back his own judgement for once. Later Johnny says he has decided to agree with Tom. He’s going to do the sheep shearing modules.
- Harrison has tried one of Wayne’s new sandwiches. He really enjoyed it. There seem to be quite a few compliments for the new menu. Wayne has told Fallon he thinks Harrison is a good bloke. In the car they need to avoid a few potholes. Tony will need to sort that.
- Kirsty appears to talk to Tom. They have a conversation about how well Helen is. It’s not very comfortable. They both pretend they think everything is okay.
