Rob punishes Henry. Kirsty offers a way out.
Radio Times: Kirsty is walking a tightrope, and Henry is in trouble.
Characters: Adam, Brian, Helen, Jennifer, Kirsty, Lilian, Rob- Helen manages to get away and meet Kirsty at Grey Gables, but despite her call to the helpline last week, Helen appears to be in denial about Rob, telling Kirsty he is ‘complicated’ which is why Kirsty is unable to understand him. Kirsty stands her ground, and keeps asking Helen if she did ring the helpline. She suggests that Helen ring Jess to talk about Rob’s behaviour. Weakly, Helen says she hasn’t got the number. Look on Rob’s phone then says the ever-sensible Kirsty.
- The agronomist is due at Home Farm, and is keen to talk to Adam about his no-till ideas. Brian wants to come along too, but is unimpressed when the agronomist stops mid-way to take a personal call. Justin wants Adam to make a presentation to the BL board – but Adam must run it past Brian first. Pip wants to talk to Adam about grazing the herbal leys. Meanwhile Lilian is busy rounding up people to go to the Businesswoman of the year award – at Jennifer’s expense, it seems.
- Helen has to leave, scared that Rob will discover where she is, but first Kirsty wants to give her something; her old mobile with a new SIM card and £20 credit. In it are the numbers of the helpline and all Kirsty’s contact numbers. She can use it at any time but must hide it away.
- Helen returns to find a cold and angry Rob. He knows where Helen has been because another mother told him. Henry has been to a party but because Helen left her phone, Rob had to collect him. He has been disobedient since coming home, taking the Easter egg Tony and Pat gave him and ‘sharing’ it with his ‘stupid’ soft toy. As a punishment Henry is to stay in his room, and has been made to put the Easter egg and the toy in the bin. Hearing Henry cry, Helen tries to go and comfort him, but Rob refuse to let her. He will go and discipline Henry, and she must ring the pharmacy to get the anti-depressants. Helen protests but Rob will not listen. The number is on his phone. And what other numbers might Helen discover?
