• Adam and Ian are admiring the stag night photos and Jennifer pops round to finalise the seating plan. He is disappointed Peggy won’t be there but it doesn’t matter. Jennifer decides to spend more time at Honeysuckle with them – she’s so happy. Brian will have to fend for himself. Ian tore up his Christmas card from Mads without reading it. His friendship with her is in the past now. His new life is starting.
• Pip is getting very frustrated by the boys invading her room and he promises her a trip to pick the tree instead – and the boys can come too if they promise not to go into her room again. Ruth, however, won’t be welcome. But when the tree gets back things are a bit more Christmassy. Finding some of the old decorations reminds them of what they’ve got. Pip is keen to press them to celebrate there anniversary but Ruth thinks maybe next year.
