  • At Nets practice, Harrison asks Chris to keep an eye on Molly’s batting as he’d like to give Lily some extra coaching. Chris bemoans Usha’s skills while Harrison feels she should be given the benefit of the doubt – at least for a second session. However, there is no improvement and Harrison calls her for a chat at the end of the evening. Usha acknowledges her limitations but feels that with practice, she could improve. Harrison disagrees and is forced to be blunt, but in a bid to spell out Usha’s unsuitability for the team, finds himself on the cusp of controversy, which he manages to row back from.
  • It’s Carol’ and Jill’s first crack at Aquafit together. Jill is surprised at the numbers and the popularity of the class. Jill is acquiring a taste for Carol’s herbal mix although does miss caffeine. They survive the class unscathed, until leaving the pool, when Carol sees that Jill’s ageing swimsuit is now transparent!
  • Brian has invested in Alice and has purchased a UAV 3D mapping system for field drainage. Adam is not so thrilled with Brian’s lack of consultation. Brian recalls with Alice his excruciating evening with Justin in the role of ‘agony aunt’ and most recently, go-between, for Lilian and Justin. There is no sign of the pair reaching any resolution and Alice jokes with her Dad that he will have to try harder.
  • Carol explores with Jill her reservations over Pip’s investment proposal. Jill is wise to the fact that her money may end up in Toby’s pocket, so Carol suggests that her funds could be safeguarded by the drawing up of a formal agreement to protect everyone’s interests.
