• Kathy has taken her job application to the golf club in person. She’s feeling quite positive about the whole idea now, but warns Jamie to say nothing to Nigel and Elizabeth.
• Alice takes Spearmint for a ride, but when she meets Brian, won’t let him help her, even though she’s got to rush to do an extra shift at Grey Gables. Brian tells her how impressed he is with all her activities, and stresses that he will offer financial support should Alice need it – but she’s adamant; she wants to be independent.
• The Archer clan descend on the Space Centre, which proves popular with the children and the males, if rather less so with the females, though, predictably, Ruth pronounces it all fan-TAS-tic. The light bucket still hasn’t arrived, to Jill’s consternation.
• Adam rings David to say that Matt is coming to Home Farm tomorrow to talk further about the anaerobic digester.
