Alice pesters Christopher into agreeing they should look into moving to Canada.

Radio Times: Paul makes an exciting announcement and Jazzer spots an opportunity.

Characters: Alice, Christopher, Clarrie, Ed, Jazzer, Lilian, Paul

• Ed tells Clarrie he is annoyed with Emma for letting Helen pay for George to go to a soft play centre. Clarrie tells him he is fussing about nothing. Emma will be able to do the same some day. Jazzer turns up to say he’s been offered a vintage tractor worth thousands and will probably only have to pay a few hundred for it. They can sell it to buy a pick up and shearing gear. Ed doesn’t think they should be ripping off old ladies though Jazzer says they’ll be doing her a favour. Ed agrees to have a look at it.
• Paul has found a love nest for them and can’t wait to show Lilian. He’s being very mysterious about where it is though.
• Alice turns up at the forge to tell Chris she has a second interview in Canada. Christopher can’t believe she expects him to drop everything he has built up in the business to move to Canada where there is no certainty he’ll be able to find any work and she just wants him to chuck everything away. She makes everything better by telling him she’ll be able to support him. Alice keeps nagging until Chris gives in and agrees.
