Pat and Tom have a major row about Tom’s proposal to go non organic again.

Radio Times: Pat’s holiday mood comes to an abrupt end. Meanwhile Darrell is touting for work.

  • Tom picks up his parents after the holiday. They are very relaxed but Tom already begins to hint about his plans to go non organic again.
  • Darrell tells Christopher how lucky he is, his own business, house, wife. While Darrell is scraping around for work. Chris suggests the Paper Mill development but once Darrell finds it’s Amside he is suddenly less keen.
  • Later when Pat and Tony talk to Tom he says how hard it is to find an extra supply of pig meat. Pat suggests he should put his plans on hold but Tom says he is looking at welfare friendly meat instead. Pat and Tony are horrified but Pat insists they shouldn’t talk about it now.
  • Darrell asks Neil for any ideas about work too but all he can suggest is the Amside project. He still sounds very uninterested.
  • Pat, of course, can’t leave it alone and has a major row with Tom about it. They manage to restrain themselves when Tony reappears but he is not convinced.
