An incapable Peggy’s returning home Sunday with Jack. And that’s that.
Radio Times: Jennifer finds herself outnumbered.
Characters: Eddie, Jennifer, Joe, Kenton, Lilian, Lynda, Peggy- The doctor’s pleased with Peggy’s progress, although her sight isn’t improving. She’s determined to return home Sunday with Jack and has got Lilian turning on the heating and stocking the fridge at The Lodge, behind Jennifer’s back, by making her feel guilty about putting Jack in The Willows.
- Lynda and Jennifer both go on the Grundy’s Ghosts of Ambridge walk but only out of concern about history being misrepresented. Lynda’s irritable cough is a constant interruption and even Jennifer tries to get her pikeman objections heard. Roundhead Kenton fires at Cavalier Fat Paul, including unexpected balloon-bursting sound effects, and Fat Paul comes crashing down, ruining the atmosphere.
- Peggy sits Jennifer down and tells her again she’s returning home with Jack on Sunday and doesn’t need Jennifer’s permission. Lilian tells Jenny to give up. They, along with Pat and Tony, will just have to pop in often to try and help.
