Anisha and Jazzer reach and uneasy truce. Peggy helps Henry make sense of events.

  • Henry is showing resentful behaviours towards Jack and waking up in the night worried. Kirsty reassures Helen that it has only been a week since Rob attempted to kidnap Jack, so Henry may settle, given time. He later displays obnoxious behaviour towards Jack in front of Peggy, who offers to speak to Henry. He discloses that during the kidnap when he wanted to go with Jack, Rob told him he is not his real father, so he is feeling abandoned and rejected.
  • Kirsty is apprehensive that her pregnancy will be met with disapproval from Peggy. Tom addresses it head on when he gives Peggy a lift home, but he needn’t have worried: Peggy offers her congratulations and they discuss the responsibilities of parenthood. Tom confesses he is both excited and apprehensive.
  • Peggy engineers a quiet word with Kirsty to offer her congratulations and also a very generous financial gift. Kirsty feels awkward accepting it, but Helen insists she must. Making a contribution towards her great-grandchild will give Peggy pleasure.
  • Jazzer has concerns about one of the pigs and Tom calls a vet – Anisha. Jazzer is not impressed when Tom leaves him to deal with Anisha and he grumbles to her about her drinking scam on Burns Night. He challenges her to a rematch, which she declines. She then turns him down for a date and goes to leave, taking the more treacherous of two paths and when she slips and asks for Jazzer’s help, he withholds his assistance until she finally apologises for cheating.
