Characters: , , , , ,
  • Susan is enjoying gossiping about Kirsty in the shop. Tracy thinks it is probably Roy’s but Susan is convinced it is Tom’s. They also go to gossip about Anisha but Alistair isn’t interested. Susan suggests Tracy should get Roy a birthday card but Tracy says she is out of date – Tracy dumped him. He was so boring but dumping him was the kindest thing to do. Poor Roy he was gutted. She has no idea what Elizabeth saw in him. She must have been desperate.
  • Rex is busily cutting Anisha’s hedge. She thinks he is doing a professional job. He tells her she has become a bit of a celebrity after she drank Jazzer under the table. Anisha says she is relying on him to keep his secret. She pays him for his work but refuses a tip.
  • Pip goes to find Rex to ask the truth about Brighton. He is really reluctant to tell her and suggests it is just to hang out with his dodgy mates. He used to disappear for a couple of days and then come back completely wrecked and take another couple of days to come down. He gives her a few names including some girls. He says it isn’t a couples thing, they just all hang out. She pushes him because she knows he is holding something back but he says she’ll have to ask Toby.
  • Anisha and Alistair discuss a business plan and a whole list of new equipment. She really thinks they need to keep up with the modern equipment. They need to invest to compete. He is concerned about replacing everything at once. The Anisha talks about improving the infrastructure. Her pricing makes it out to be a quarter of a million. Alistair is horrified. Anisha says it is essential – not just for the equestrian business but for all of the clients. She says it is time he shows some trust in her. It is the only way.
