Brian announces the change of plans for Home Farm to Adam as a done deal and Adam refuses to go along with it.
Radio Times: Brian lays down the law, and Eddie’s cash cow comes a cropper.
Characters: Adam, Brian, David, Eddie, Hayley, Joe- Brian insists that he must talk to Adam today but won’t tell him what about.
- Eddie and Joe turn up at Home Farm to install the dog on its plinth without talking to Jennifer. Now they’ve got a dog in the Aldridges’ maybe it will open doors for them. When they are driving home Eddie hits and kills a wild boar. So that’s the end of any chances of selling any more concrete monsters. But then it occurs to Eddie that he can make out that the boar only ran onto the road because it was scared by the even bigger monster in the woods.
- Adam pops round to Brookfield. He and David seem to think it’s pretty much a done deal over Keith and think everything will be back to normal.
- Hayley pops round to see Jennifer to ask if she has heard any dates from Kate when she suddenly sees the dog out of the window. She doesn’t sound as worked up as she might have been but begins to think it might all have been a put up job between Ruairi and Lilian. That boy is getting very devious!
- Later Hayley calls Phoebe but she isn’t there and Kate is vague about when she’ll be home.
- Brian tells Adam that he is going to have to turn over Home Farm for the dairy fodder. Adam refuses but Brian says there is no option and Debbie agrees. Adam simply says no and Brian says then they will do it without his support.
