Brian is up to something on the farm again, keeping Adam out of the loop. Nic tries to make friends with Clarrie, but Clarrie doesn’t give and inch.

Radio Times: Nic tries to build bridges.

Characters: Adam, Brian, Clarrie, Lilian, Nic

• Brian is keeping Adam ought of the loop again and he’s not impressed. Brian says it doesn’t matter but Adam doesn’t agree.
• Nic tries to make up with Clarrie. She explains that she knows Will would have liked everyone to be together on Bonfire Night and was she the problem? Nic thinks they should try to get to know each other but Clarrie isn’t giving an inch. Nic tries to stress they both want what is best for Will but Clarrie isn’t too sure – even a night at bingo doesn’t seem to work.
• Lilian is trying to work out what to buy Ruairi for his birthday – sounds like it will be a pirate outfit. He’s still having trouble with bedwetting but Adam is more interested in whining about Brian now he is spending more time on the farm. Lilian says she’ll try to find out what he’s up to.
• Lilian is wondering why Matt is suddenly intent on selling No.1 The Green. Up until the drinks reception, he’d been keen on renting again but now suddenly he wants to sell. She thinks it might be down to Annabel. Brian agrees they were talking together at the meeting. But clearly it is jealousy again for Lilian.
