  • Jack and Peggy begin Christmas Day well. And lunch goes well at Grey Gables. Though Jack reverts to a much earlier Christmas show and ends up in the Grey Gables office. Something seems a bit odd with Matt. He has been bad tempered all week and is now going a walk which is most unlike him. He seems to be going from one extreme to the other. Jennifer puts it down to him not hearing from his mother.
  • Christmas at Keeper’s Cottage also goes well with a phone call for Joe from Mildred. Clarrie and Eddie have a good time but it’s disappointing the Joe is set on going to see Alf. But it’s something he has to do. Then the day is spoiled a bit more when Emma decides not to come for Christmas tea but Eddie has a way of making amends.
