Characters: Clarrie, Eddie, Tom, Tony

• Eddie is helping out with erecting the Fundraising Thermometer for the organ. Though he already seems deeply involved in the Flower Festival which amuses Tony. He’s a bit secretive about what he is actually doing.
• Clarrie is getting ready for selling teas for the Bridge Farm sale. She’s a bit worried about prices. Tom tells her it will all be fine. Tony tells him later they’ll be donating the profits to the organ fund. Pat is still unsure about whether she is going to be at the sale. Tony tells stories of how much of a stock woman she is, distinctly absent in the milking parlour following Tony’s heart attack…. Tom goes into an emotional and embarrassing – to Tony – speech about how grateful and proud he and Helen are for all they have done and repeats it several times….
• Eddie has got Clarrie the water feature she wanted. He seems to think it’s a bit on the big side. Clarrie insists it will be worth its weight in gold and insists Eddie puts it together to see if it works. While Clarrie watches Eddie building the feature, she tells him that George is now teaching all his teddies and action figures how to pray and Action Man is in the naughty corner. She is also surprised at the size of the water feature and is distinctly underwhelmed when he turns it on.
