• Brian isn’t enjoying doing the lambing. But Eddie doesn’t mind some extra work. He’s planning on some shopping at the farm sale. But there seems to be some mastitis in the flock. Eddie finds time to congratulate Jennifer – maybe it will be a grandson this time. Brian suddenly realises just how much Adam does – even if it is because he is younger and fitter. And to top it all, Pat thinks they all need a family conference about Jack.
• The farm sale seems to be going well but David isn’t very interested in telling Ruth how it’s going. But then David gets keen on a tractor for Bert to use in his ploughing competition. Phil isn’t sure but David can even see himself doing it up. At least David should consult Ruth but he thinks he is entitled. He wins it for £1900. Phil is rather worried about how David is going to find the time.
