• Debbie’s hen night. Ambridge’s female population (well, some of it) decamped to Borchester to visit a couple of pubs and a club. Mrs Antrobus, starting out as a designated driver, but a few tequila slammers and Hayley took on the mantle and Marjorie re-affirms her unofficial description as a “game old bird”.
• A few drinks and giggles about men.
• In the wee small hours the car breaks down and the giggling damsels are rescued by a coach carrying some rugby players (no, really, on a hen night?) and a few songs are sung and entendres looking like being doubled.
• Errr. That’s pretty much it.
