Ed asks Eddie to be his Best Man and he agrees.

Characters: Adam, Brian, David, Ed, Eddie, Rex Fairbrother- Brian tries to chat to Adam about his plan for the herbal ley. He still thinks it is an expensive waste but Adam insists it is necessary and Debbie is fully on board. Jennifer is insisting on a new dress for her appearance at May Day. Brian has told her not to expect autograph hunters. Then Adam gets a call from Helen asking him and Ian over to celebrate.
- Ed shows Rex over the BL land and Rex is definitely interested. Ed says he’ll talk to BL about transferring the lease but BL tend to play hardball. Eddie tries to convince Rex that there won’t be a market for ducks and geese nearby and he’d be better looking to sell them further afield but Ed lets the cat out of the bag by explaining about Grundy Turkeys.
- Ed offers Eddie a pint in The Bull later and surprises him by asking him to be his Best Man. He knows he hasn’t always been the best son and doesn’t deserve a yes. But Eddie says yes anyway.
- David is still getting the cold shoulder from Kenton in The Bull but Callum is at least serving him. He begs Ed to do a milking shift for him. And then he asks if he found out who had removed the rubbish from the culverts. David is puzzled why only one was blocked. Ed says he is sure it is just a coincidence and excuses himself. Adam joins David for a drink. The cricket team and things are looking good. Johnny had a trial for his local Under 15s. Tom is getting things in hand. Adam reminds David about the single wicket contest.
