• Pat’s giving the yard a lick of paint ahead of this weekend’s farm walk. Unfortunately Eric escapes from his pen and, somehow, manages to get paint everywhere – including all over Eddie’s prized Capri which Clarrie had driven to work.
• Kate calls on Roy wanting a word. To ecstatic ears she tells him that she’s willing to face common sense and drop the court action, offering him access to Baby. She doesn’t deal in specifics, but Roy’s too pleased to worry about that.
• Sean’s doing a few end of season chores in the cricket pavilion as Richard arrives to bid his goodbye. They talk about how the village will miss him and that he’s still confused about the situation and ruing the fact that Shula feels unable to leave. He refuses the offer of ringing round a few people to gather for some pints in the Cat in favour of making a quiet exit.
