• Eddie calls at the Bull for a pint before the weekly weigh-in. He’s confident that he’ll be slimmer of the week again – it’s just a matter of calories. But he’s not coming on Sid’s run.
• Jolene has cause be furious with Lilian again. She has now phoned the brewery to ask for the delivery to be later, so that she’s not disturbed. Sid says he’ll have a word …
• Lilian and Jennifer enjoy their retail therapy, until Lilian spots Annabelle in the lingerie department at Underwoods. Even worse, she’s buying a negligee. Jennifer just manages to stop Lilian following her,
• Rudely, Adam tells Brian he’s off to a meeting about the bio-digester, so Brian will have to help with repairing the deer fence. And there’s more; Adam is off to Scotland with Debbie, so Brian will just have to put more hours in next week.
• True to his word, Eddie wins Slimmer of the Week again. Sid’s puzzled about the fleece Eddie’s wearing, and which he won’t remove. The talk is of Sabrina Thwaites, however; she was the only one to go on Sid’s run, and was definitely a sight for sore eyes.
• Brian seeks solace at the Bull. He tells Jolene he can’t stand family politics any longer – and then there’s Lilian. Jolene sympathises with that one. When Sid returns, Jolene has already heard about Sabrina, and tells Sid firmly that they are too busy at the Bull for any more fitness runs. A tearful Lilian returns. Meekly, Sid says he will speak to her … sooner or later.
