Elizabeth manages to hand more ammunition to Taylor’s defence.

Radio Times: Elizabeth faces some tough questions.

• Elizabeth has an anxious time waiting for Taylor’s solicitor. When he finally arrives he crawls over every word of her statement. She does her best to say she meant nothing by what she’d said before. But he still manages to get her to say that he was a good employee who never gave any problems – just a normal guy and one who worked well and showed a healthy interest in a female colleague who showed an interest in him. The solicitor tells her she was helpful and will very probably be called as a witness for the defence.
• Pip does get hold of Matt and berates him for destroying the habitat of the skylarks. He tries to convince her otherwise but she isn’t having any of it so he gives up.
• Matt arranges dinner with Annabelle but Lilian tells him she has other plans so he’ll have to ring to cancel – and any other future meals would obviously need other members of the Board wouldn’t they? Matt also tells Lilian about Pip and she wants him to go easy on her since she’s family, no getting away from the Archers Ambridge
