Emma breaks down and tells her Mum everything. She doesn’t know what she can do.

Radio Times: Emma worries about the future, while Elizabeth has some big ideas.

Characters: David, Elizabeth, Emma, George, Lewis, Roy, Ruth

• Elizabeth is beginning work on converting the new wedding accommodation. Lewis is helping – apparently most guests expect to have windows in their bedrooms. She asks him to oversee the project but he says she’ll need an expert in listed buildings.
• Emma is getting a bit distracted at Ruth’s and asks again for extra work. Ruth obviously feels sorry for her and offers her a little but not much. She goes round to Susan’s for tea and is clearly very down. She does agree that George can watch Josh halter training.
• Roy finally finds the moment to ask Elizabeth about Hayley and she says of course she doesn’t want to lose her. She says she will go and tell her herself.
• Emma tells Susan about the milking parlour. She says she isn’t asking for more help but she thought they were just getting back on their feet and then this happens. It doesn’t matter what they have coming in, it just goes straight out again. She doesn’t know what to do anymore.
