Fallon stands her ground. Alice proves her worth.

Radio Times: Nigel plays Cupid (again!).

Characters: , , , , , ,
  • Nigel is pleased with the way Uncle Rupert’s paintings are selling, and with the progress of the Titcombe/Pugsley romance, which he is doing his utmost to foster. He invites the Brookfield children over for a treasure hunt, to David’s relief; maybe that will divert their attention from the tree house which he has yet to finish.
  • Jennifer is on tenterhooks over Alice’s AS results. Unable, presumably, to afford a mobile, Jennifer sits by the phone awaiting Alice’s call, despite having to run the farm in the absence of Brian and Adam. Ruth manages to persuade her to donate a picnic hamper to the auction of promises, though.
  • Adam is pleased with the outcome of his visit to the fertility clinic with Ian. The process will take six months; long enough for Ian to change his mind. Adam shares Jennifer’s delight at Alice’s straight A’s, though Jennifer can’t resist mentioning the fact that Amy did rather less well.
  • The redoubtable Fallon has a major go at Jazzer for supplying Ed with Crack. At first Jazzer tries to bluff his way out of it, but Fallon won’t let the matter drop. Rather lamely, Jazzer says he doesn’t think Ed will turn up for his appointment with the drugs counsellor tomorrow, anyway.
