• Kenton’s sent a rather risqué postcard to the Bull, which Mike considered very scenic, although Clarrie thought it rather unnatural!
• Jennifer suggests to Betty that Baby’s four grandparents might try and formulate a coördinated strategy, primarily to avoid having to go through the courts again. Betty suggests that she and Brian come round later in the week, when Roy’s out, which Jennifer interprets as a dinner invitation. Mike’s not keen at throwing a dinner party for the Aldridges, but Betty doesn’t want to own up to that not being her intention.
• Clarrie’s out practicing on her bike for next Saturday’s sponsored bike ride. It will tour round 12 churches in the district. Alistair again refuses to take part, but does sponsor Daniel one pound per church.
