• Clarrie catches Eddie in the kitchen with some pheasants. He tries to convince her of the legality of the situation in that they were on their land …. only she’d been picked wheat chaff from William’s jumper the night before! She’s too busy to help him hang them as she’s got to get to Grey Gables to start preparing the dinners for the canine guests, only Jean-Paul isn’t in favour of allowing kitchen space for such a silly idea!
• The MAFF vet is at Brookfield and Phil is very worried about the results of the TB tests, not least because he was never in favour of expanding the herd and this doesn’t help his attitude. They won’t know until Monday and he’s not sure that he can face the agony of the process that they went through four years ago.
• Larry Lovell is on the prowl for participants in Jack and Beanstalk and would really like Jill as a fairy.
