Helen gives Pat a piece of her “homemade” jewellery and she is determined to show it off.

Characters: David, Helen, Kirsty, Pat, Pip, Tom- Tom is a bit depressed to hear that Bellinghams haven’t yet decided to up their order Pat tries to be more upbeat about it. Tom is a bit more enthusiastic about arranging the nature tour with Kirsty.
- Helen produces her bit of homemade jewellery and Pat is thrilled to see it. She is amazed that Helen has made it. Maybe there is a second career for her. So she asks Helen to make her one. Helen gives her the one she bought and Pat is thrilled with it. It’s in return for all the babysitting. Kirsty is horrified when she finds out.
- David is pleased the badger cull has started. Pip admits Spencer is against. David hopes she put him straight. She also thinks they can learn how to build the herd more quickly. David isn’t at all keen; they want to do it properly. But Pip is insistent and gets very angry. David doesn’t think she understands and Pip storms out. Back to usual then.
- Gosh, there was a red admiral and a dunnock on the nature tour. Shows how Bridge Farm is attracting the really rare species…. Apparently the nature group was really interested which says more about the nature group than anything else. Tom admits to Kirsty that Bellinghams are ending the promotional offer on the ready meals early and they aren’t committing to the order. Kirsty suggests lunch to talk it all through, before she meets Damien. At lunch Tom is worried about what he will do with the extra producton. But at least the Twitter campaign is going well. Kirsty is sure he can go far.
- Later David tries to make up with Pip. She says it is fine, a last argument before going to Yorkshire.
