  • Helen suddenly seems to have remembered she has a job but still dumps Henry on her parents. Helen tells her mother that she doesn’t have a “jewellery class” this evening when Rob rings to say that now the cows aren’t coming he is free, so Henry gets another night in with his grandfather.
  • Everything seems to be going well at the dairy including hearing that the vet practice is going to take on students to help with the calving. And they’ll stay in the pickers’ caravans so won’t cost much. Brian finds it very amusing that Bridge Farm are supplying food for the main crew against all of their principles. They are laughing that Jennifer’s roses have all been sprayed with weedkiller and are all dead when Rob gets a text that one of the lorries with the cows in has broken down south of Frankfurt.
  • Kathy is having to lay out the buffet on her own now she is short of staff. Martyn is making such a song and dance about it. Pat gives her a hand and comments that the salmon looks a bit like Martyn – cold, pink and fishy.
  • Oh for goodness sake get a room! Helen has been getting more devious, even buying craft jewellery to pass of as her own. She manages to stay in the pub with Rob for about 5 minutes before they head of to bed AGAIN.
