Characters: , , , , , ,
  • Caroline is showing Ray the ropes but tries to make Lynda feel better about things by leaving it to her to show him round. Lynda isn’t very impressed with him eating the chocolates and bouncing on the bed with his shoes on. But she warms to her more when he treats her to lunch in the restaurant – as long as he doesn’t start suggesting music in the restaurant.
  • Brookfield is very busy with the block calving and that is increasing the number of cows to be milked of course. At a snatched coffee with Ruth, Usha says she is planning to enter her roses into the flower and produce show; Ruth is surprised to hear that, she is entering hers too, without Bert’s help. Ruth has been making up a care package for Pip. Ruth seems more bothered about Pip going away than Pip does.
  • Rob pops into the shop for a sandwich. It’s induction day for the dairy staff and the first cows arrive tomorrow. The welcome boxes for the staff the shop has been preparing look good. Rob thinks they’ll look very popular.
