  • Ever since they heard that Hazel Woolley had inherited their home, Clarrie has been worrying. Hazel is really not a nice person, so Clarrie is not comforted by Eddie’s assurance that she can’t get them out.
  • Jennifer has called to see Tony, having heard that he is upset about mum’s will, but he is nowhere to be seen. So she gets up Pat’s nose instead. Clarrie’s arrival provides an excuse for Pat to escape.
  • What happened? Kirsty is keen to hear the details of the Bridge Farm bust-up. Helen would have moved out there and then but for the state of Henry’s room at Blossom Hill Cottage. She will take Wednesday off to sort it. Kirsty has a favour to ask too: Tom wants to visit Catheridge Hall on Tuesday.
  • Clarrie too is getting the details of how Tony couldn’t keep his mouth shut. Pat is worried that Rob will let Helen and Henry down. They wonder about the size of Susan’s lottery win – the general rumour is millions. Will she give up work or move to a mansion?
  • Back home Clarrie continues the same subject with Eddie. Perhaps Susan could buy their house from Hazel Woolley; she would be a better landlord. George comes for tea and to see Bartleby. Clarrie is amazed to hear that Holly is still staying with Will; George explains that Dad says he has to go to Dad’s house to see Holly. George is not happy with that. Clarrie is sure that Ed won’t be happy either. What are they going to do?
