Characters: Adam, Alice, Brian, Clarrie, David, Kate, William

• David has come to borrow some equipment from Home Farm. Adam’s phone interview didn’t go well, as the presenter started asking him about the land contamination. Brian tells David that the insurance company isn’t going to pay out, so he’ll be selling some land. Now he’s got to tell Kate and Alice.
• Will visits a solicitor. According to him, he stands a good chance of keeping custody of Jake and Mia.
• Alice and Kate visit Adam to cheer him up, having heard his phone-in interview. Both of them are going to help him recruit pickers using their contacts. They only need an uptake of 4.2% to get all the pickers he needs.
• Kate and Alice are both fine with Brian wanting to sell some land. Brian is very happy that the whole family is on his side.
• Will tells his mother that he’ll soon be going back to work full time. She’s worried about who will look after the kids. He’ll manage it somehow …
