  • Fallon takes Jolene shopping for her wedding dress, but when they reach a bridal shop, Jolene gets cold feet. She tries on a number of dresses but finds it hard to make a decision. Fallon takes some photographs to help her make her final choice.
  • Oliver is cross to find Caroline at work when she is meant to have a day off to go shopping for holiday clothes. She is fussing over trivia, so Oliver takes the notebook from her, and insists that she stop work. After all, he has tickets for Romeo and Juliet at the Arena in Verona, so Caroline must buy herself something to wear.
  • As ever with Ambridge residents, Caroline and Oliver meet Jolene and Fallon just as Jolene has tried on yet another dress. Jolene asks Caroline what she thinks, and Caroline is speechless, though Oliver gallantly tells Jolene she looks wonderful. Jolene realises that the dress is not suitable, and wants to go home, but Fallon insists they should go to a little vintage shop she knows.
  • Kathy has a call from the loathsome Martyn, telling her he wants to see her at 12. Kathy has all the figures he demands to see, and it becomes clear that everything is as it should be. Martyn is left without a leg to stand on, and for once Kathy has the upper hand.
  • In the vintage shop Jolene finds the perfect dress and buys it. She and Fallon encounter Caroline and Oliver again, but the dress is to remain a secret until the Big Day.
