Justin wants to know the truth about Rob. Rob wants to know the truth about Adam and Ian.
Radio Times: As shoot day dawns, Will has had a sleepless night, while Justin Elliot wants the truth.
Characters: Brian, Jennifer, Justin, Nic, Phoebe, Rob, William- Worried about the shoot after last year’s fiasco, Will is unable to sleep. Nic offers reassurance in vain.
- Justin Elliott and Jennifer vie in the charm oozing stakes as the guns arrive. Among them is Rob, who appears to have no Bridge Farm or Helen commitments today. He too oozes charm, and is quick to pick up on a casual comment made by Jennifer about wobbles in Adam’s relationship with Ian.
- The shoot goes well and Justin offers compliments all round. Rob manages not only to corner Jennifer and pursue her comment about Adam and Ian but to ingratiate himself with Justin, pleading poverty as his reason for not shooting more regularly.
- Although pleased with the way the shoot has gone, and delighted with his large tip, Will is anxious about his parents. He asks Jennifer if she knows of anywhere they might rent. Later he suggests to Nic that they come to stay with them, but Nic points out that they are already short of room.
- Having secured an interview at Oxford, Phoebe is wheeled out for Justin to admire. Jennifer tells her about the photo shoot for the calendar. Kind Phoebe says ‘if you’ve still got it, why not show it off?’ Yes, says the ever self-deprecating Jennifer, just what I thought myself.
- Justin probes Brian for information about Berrow Farm and the sudden departure of Young Titchener, but Brian gives nothing away. If you want to know the truth, ask Rob, he says. Mm… well…
