Keith is charged. Brian wins the BL contract for Home Farm.
Radio Times: Tracy is incensed and Annabelle has her suspicions.
Characters: Annabelle, Brian, Emma, Jennifer, Keith, Susan, Tracy- There’s more bad news for Susan: Keith has been charged. So it looks as if Emma was right, though she didn’t want to be right.
- Brian makes his pitch to BL: Home Farm is the right choice and he has several reasons to support this. He wins the day but Annabelle is sharp enough to notice that in the staffing plans there was no mention of Adam by name. Has he jumped ship?
- Jennifer is served in the Post Office by a rather distracted Susan. Meanwhile Tracy is visiting Keith and he doesn’t deny his guilt. Petrol bombing a farm – what got into him? It turns out that, in order to make a few quid, he has been tipping off some criminal acquaintances about farm equipment that might be easy to steal. He didn’t attack Adam or let the animals loose, just the fire. Just! He was pressed into that; he thought Emma and the kids were at Susan’s. Tracy urges him to tell the police all he knows or he will go down forever.
- Brian’s report of today’s successful board meeting is not well received by Jennifer; she is still worried about Adam’s future.
- Tracy reports to Susan on her meeting with Keith, despite which Tracy is still very hostile to Emma. Never mind what Keith did, she thinks informing on a family member is beyond the pale.
