Characters: , , , , ,
  • Alistair is concerned about Anisha and her horses when suddenly he gets a call from Lynday – her paddock is full of poorly ponies – Shula has heard of this sort of thing before. She has no idea what to do. She has called the police but no one has been yet and one of the ponies is injured. Skin has even begun to grow over the head collar and the leg is very badly injured. Shula is determined to save her.
  • Tony is recognising that his cows will have to go if he is planning to breed. He’ll have to start again. Tom isn’t sure about the costs but Tony says it is all he has to live for now.
  • David tells Tony that he is now offering compensation for the costs of the herd. Tony is pleased about that and they shouldn’t let the row linger on. Tony agrees it isn’t easy but he is grateful that David has said what he has. Tom appears briefly and is just as hostile as ever so David says he’ll give them a couple of days.
  • Harrison hasn’t helped much with the ponies. But at least Lynda is prepared to look after them for the time being. But Alistair isn’t sure that the injured pony will make it. He’ll keep giving her anti biotics but it is touch and go.
  • Tom is still ridiculously angry about Brookfield. He tells Tony that they should threaten to sue them. This is for the sake of the farm. And Tony agrees that maybe they need to do it for the sake of the farm. They have Brookfield against the ropes and if they play it right they can name their price
