  • Brookfield is nearly ready for Christmas now Heather has arrived. And the Church and Lynda are ready for the Gospel concert. Mabel has also arrived early to hear the concert though mainly she wants to spend more time with Amy.
  • Ruth and David remember how different this Christmas is from last. Ruth thought they’d never be happy again. But they came through.
  • The concert is a great success. But it reignites the debate about the pews – Alan thinks you can fit in more with chairs whereas Bert still thinks you can fit in more with chairs!
  • Kathy has turned up to help with the refreshments at the concert but even Heather notices that she is looking ill. Afterwards, the Bull is very full and the choir gives another encore – and Joe sees it as an opportunity to make a collection which Lynda puts swiftly behind the bar for their drinks!
