Lynda’s posters have been defaced for a second time!

Radio Times: Lynda faces a distracting dilemma and Matt makes a generous gesture.

Characters: Joyce, Kenton, Lilian, Lynda, Matt, Usha

• Matt produces breakfast in bed for Lilian. He reckons she deserves a bit of pampering now James has gone. Lilian is rather shocked. Even more surprised when he suggests going to visit Joyce to make sure she is settling in okay. She seems to like the new flat but still wishes their old home could have been as nice for both of them.
• Lynda is still trying, rather unsuccessfully, to control Kenton. And then she finds the posters have been defaced for a second time. She is obviously beginning to suspect Kenton but he continues to deny it. Then she suggests that all Kenton’s jokes should come from Shakespeare. Kenton isn’t impressed.
• Lynda isn’t impressed with the witches’ rehearsal. Kenton thinks they are supposed to be funny as do Usha and Lilian but apparently that’s not the thing! Lynda is beginning to see why it’s an unlucky play!
• Matt continues to try to be nice to Lilian and she announces her intention to go shopping in Cheltenham for the day next Wednesday.
