Matt calls Tom to offer to come into the pig business.

• Hannah is packing to leave Ambridge. Helen will miss her as will Tom. She’s had a great time and has learned masses. After she has left Helen has a go at Tom. He is being a total misery and it isn’t fair on Brenda. She is looking terrible. And he isn’t taking any interest in Bridge Farm either.
• Pip is struggling a bit with her 5 mile diet – many scrambled eggs and omelettes so far. Ruth persuades her to eat with the family but gets fed up when Pip complains about salt and tomatoes which certainly came from more than 5 miles away.
• Brenda tries to cheer Tom up when the phone rings and it’s Matt with his offer of money for his business. Brenda manages to sound suitably surprised.
