Radio Times: Opportunity knocks for Brenda.

Characters: Brenda, David, Matt, Mike, Ruth, Tom

• Brenda is nervous before her meeting with Matt but Tom is more interested in talking about Fallon and Ed. If they haven’t found anyone before they get to 30, they’ll marry each other. Brenda doesn’t even know what it is Matt wants. She thinks it might be to do with Mike.
• Brenda is pretty speechless when she finds out that it was a job Matt wanted to talk about. Lilian is still making Matt a bit suspicious about what she’s up to. Tom isn’t impressed though. Matt is slime ball and he’ll get her involved in all sorts or dodgy deals.
• Ruth is back from the fete committee. The big idea for this year’s fete is there is no big idea! Well, unless you count Eddie being Town Crier.
• Mike is surprised that even David has heard the rumour about him and Lilian. There really is nothing in it. He just delivers her milk. But it’s enough to Mike worry about the lessons and says he wants to stop. But Lilian persuades him it’s only another couple of weeks and Mike agrees. Then Matt walks in…..
