  • Shula continues to moan about Matt, although Justin made a good speech and Christine won the cruise. On hearing Matt’s name again, Lilian rushes off, leaving her bag behind. Justin makes a pompous speech to Ian about his skills as a chef and the new-found friendship between them, whereupon Ian blurts out what he knows about Matt pestering Lilian with calls and manipulating her. Then Lilian’s phone rings again and Justin answers it. A drunken Matt urges his Pusscat to talk to her Tiger.
  • Adam decides to leave the ball. Ian will be working until early morning, so Adam would rather go home, but he encounters Lilian, who asks him about Justin’s encounter with Matt. Adam is vague, and Lilian goes to look for Justin, who seems to have disappeared. Adam drives off.
