Nigel agrees the children shouldn’t go away to school.
Radio Times: Nigel comes to a decision and Bert offers his services.
Characters: Bert, David, Eddie, Elizabeth, Nigel- Elizabeth is still worried about the children going to school. Nigel agrees to think about it. After a chat with David at the Steam Rally, Nigel realises the most important thing is Lizzie not getting stressed about it because of her heart condition and so agree they will look for a new school.
- Eddie has bullied David into buying him a ticket to the dairy show and now had persuades him to give him and Ed a lift so that they can have a few pints.
- Nigel tells Bert about his allotment plans. They think of a site which is in view for people to see but not in the area of the wedding photos. They think of a place near the rare breeds and Bert agrees to become the allotment adviser.
- David tells everyone that Jill is planning a a new trophy for the Flower and Produce show in memory of Phil. The class will be an arrangement of traditional roses and the prize will be a rose bowl.
